The German Development Institute (DIE) is running the training and dialogue format for the 19th time this year MGG Academy for highly qualified young executives from Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, Mexico, South Africa and Germany. The program is financed by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and offers a very good opportunity to intensify the cooperation between the institutes within the Johannes Rau research community. The DIE would therefore be very happy if young colleagues from the JRF institutes were interested in and applied to the MGG Academy.

The MGG Academy 2021 will take place from August 9th to December 8th, 2021 instead of. The format offers international participants from government institutions, research institutions, civil society and the private sector the opportunity to exchange ideas on pressing global challenges and to learn from one another. Together, the participants develop solutions to topics on which they work in their home institutions and which contribute to the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions, the MGG Academy 2021 will be considered a digital part-time program performed with a weekly workload of 24 hours. The Academy activities take place Mondays to Wednesdays, so that part-time employment is possible on the remaining days. There are no costs for employees to participate in the MGG Academy.
